Giving Stars launch at JM Cellars on April 27, 2017 was a wonderful evening! Four of our board members, Traci, Jenni, Alison and Jodi attended the event. Traci Barthel introduced Giving Stars and Jenni Byrd Grier gave a fantastic speech about brain health and dreaming big! The evening was quite magical with starry lights, glowing glassybaby candles in the Giving Stars colors of light pink, gold and navy, and beautiful flowers on the tables.

Our guests enjoyed appetizers and wine while listening to music by Dakota Poorman. Kendra Scott provided a beautiful pop up shop, thank you Mandy Schendel for giving our guests so much personal attention. Our raise the paddle fundraising portion was a big success, Giving Stars surpassed our fundraising goal! Our gift basket raffle included wine from JM Cellars, a glassbaby votive, and jewelry from Kendra Scott. Pictures from Elise Marie Photography and video from Travis Lawton are coming soon! We are ready for applications for mentors and for those wishing to receive assistance from Giving Stars! We are looking for our first success story!
